It turns one’s house into a disaster zone. Someone call FEMA!
I have been a crocheting fool through this last week of rainy, foggy weather. I have completed two fly bonnets (one for profit) and done a doilie, some practice squares, a filet table runner (that I then took apart because the gauge was way off) and have started the Martha Stewart Coming Home shawl for myself. The result is balls upon skeins upon balls of yarn all over the living room. It looks like a yarn barn barfed in my house.
But it’s so much fun…
Today I am going to get in some biking, and then, I am going to get this yarn wrangled and tamed and hopefully semi-organized. And I am going to get up all the yarn casualties of the crochet craft war, all these tiny little pieces of snipped yarns on the carpet, floor, furniture… I think KatiePuss has a yarn ball (you know, instead of hair ball?)… Are you, dear reader, getting the magnitude of my mess?
So, yes, cleaning. That is what I am doing today!
I just love it that someone else gets into their crafts as much as I do…oh yeah that is why I have an extra bedroom dedicated to this stuff…so do I work in there? Nooooo I have to be right in the middle of everything! But it is fun make a mess and then clean it up…mop on!
