Finally, a topic at which I excel.
Steve and I have gotten back into the CTV/CBS cop serial Flashpoint. It’s now aired on ION. It is filmed in Toronto, with a largely Canadian cast including Hugh Dillon, he of the crazy eyes.
Seriously, even when he smiles he looks insane. Growing up in Kingston, ON, will do that to a guy, just ask Steve.
Trust me, behind those sunglasses are his crazy eyes.
Anywho, I digress. Since we’ve been watching Flashpoint, I’ve been bugged by the fact that I’d seen Amy Jo Johnson somewhere, in something, and I had not been able to place it. So I Googled her. Turns out, she was a regular in one of my old favorites, Felicity. I’m glad I can put that life-stopper to bed!
Like Mr. Dillon, Amy Jo is also an accomplished musician (Dillon fronted the Canadian rock band Headstones, and more recently, the Hugh Dillon Redemption Choir in addition to a solo career) but was born in Massachusetts. Check out her voice in the video.
